Built in the 1930s, the Bowen Stone House now stands as little more than walls and a foundation. Nestled amidst the Tucson Mountains, the Bowen Homestead once spanned 2,000 acres. I can only imagine the wonderment they must have felt as they looked out their window to see a roadrunner cooling off in the shadow of freshly washed linens as they hung on the line to dry.
